Privacy Policy (English)

NotBad Labs L.L.C. (“NotBad Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use SnapDrill (the “App”).

1. Data We Collect

The App does not require an account. Your study content is stored locally on your device by default. We may collect:

  • Anonymous Usage Data: Via Firebase Analytics, we collect anonymous events (screen views, feature usage) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included. On iOS, this is only enabled after you grant App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
  • Crash Reports: Via Firebase Crashlytics, we collect technical data at the time of a crash (device model, iOS version, stack trace) to diagnose and fix issues.
  • Local Content: Question text and images you create are stored solely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

2. System Permissions

  • Camera: Used to capture images of questions and perform on-device OCR text recognition.
  • Photo Library: Used to import images from your photo library. Processing is on-device only.
  • Notifications: Used to send daily study reminders. You may disable this at any time in iOS Settings.

3. iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, your local data (including questions and images) will be backed up automatically by Apple’s iCloud service. This is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy, not ours.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or commercially share your data. Third-party services we use (Firebase, provided by Google) are subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your study content is stored locally on your device, protected by iOS system-level security. Crash reports and anonymous analytics are stored by Firebase (US servers) under industry-standard security practices.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

隐私政策（中文）

NotBad Labs L.L.C.（以下简称”我们”）非常重视您的隐私。本隐私政策说明了我们在您使用 SnapDrill / 小本本（以下简称”本应用”）时收集、使用和保护您信息的方式。

1. 我们收集哪些数据

本应用不要求注册账户，您的题目数据默认存储在您的设备本地。我们可能收集以下信息：

  • 本地存储数据：您录入的题目文字和图片仅存储在您的设备上，不会上传至我们的服务器。

2. 系统权限说明

  • 相机：用于拍摄题目图片并进行文字识别（OCR）。图片处理在本地完成。
  • 相册：用于从相册导入图片。图片处理在本地完成。
  • 通知：用于发送每日复习提醒。您可随时在系统设置中关闭。

3. iCloud 备份

若您在 iOS 设置中开启了 iCloud 备份，您的本地数据（包括题目和图片）将由 Apple 的 iCloud 服务自动备份。此功能由 Apple 控制，适用 Apple 的隐私政策，与我们无关。

4. 数据共享

我们不会出售、出租或以商业方式共享您的任何数据。我们使用的第三方服务商（Firebase，由 Google 提供）受其自身隐私政策约束。

5. 数据存储与安全

您的题目数据存储在您的设备本地，由 iOS 系统级安全机制保护。崩溃报告和匿名使用数据由 Firebase（美国服务器）存储，符合行业标准的安全规范。

6. 儿童隐私

本应用不面向 13 周岁以下的儿童，我们不会有意收集未成年人的个人信息。

7. 隐私政策变更

我们可能不定期更新本隐私政策。重大变更时，我们将通过应用内通知告知您。继续使用本应用即表示您接受更新后的政策。
